Rapper 50 Cent is taking his ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy Narvaez to court, claiming she falsely accused him of rape and physical abuse to gain an edge in their custody battle over their 11-year-old son. And here’s the kicker – 50 Cent is now seeking FULL CUSTODY of their kid!
According to court docs, Narvaez posted the false accusations on Instagram, which 50 Cent’s team calls “multiple defamatory statements” meant to “destroy his personal and business reputation” and “harm his commercial and business interests.”
50 Cent’s attorneys say Narvaez’s accusations led to “extensive public ridicule, hatred, and contempt” with people calling for him to be “canceled” or “thrown in the trash.” But 50 Cent’s team is clear: “Jackson did not rape or physically abuse Narvaez.”
Narvaez’s lawyers allegedly demanded millions of dollars and for 50 Cent to drop his custody lawsuit in exchange for taking down the post. 50 Cent’s team calls these demands “clearly extortive in nature.”
Now, 50 Cent wants Narvaez to take down the post and refrain from making other defamatory comments. He’s seeking damages of over $1 million and a court order to protect his reputation.
This custody battle just got a whole lot uglier! Stay tuned for more updates!
