50 Cent has remained a vociferous opponent of fellow New York City-raised businessman Diddy. He has hinted at developing a documentary regarding Diddy’s sexual misconduct charges, which Uncle Murda also addresses in his single “Rap Up 2023 Pt 2.”

“I’m like, did he do it? Did he drug her? Did he rape her? If you didn’t do this s###, Diddy, why did you pay her?” Uncle Murda said in the song. Those lyrics refer to the Bad Boy label founder settling a sexual assault lawsuit with his ex-girlfriend Cassie.

Murda also rapped, “You was an icon, n####. You ruined it. Diddy documentary coming out. 50 Cent shooting it.” 50 seemed to find amusement in Uncle Murda’s bars about his rival.

50 Cent responded by posting a portion of Uncle Murda’s “Rap Up 2023 Pt 2” on Instagram and complimenting the musician’s performance. In 2016, Uncle Murda joined 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records and worked with the rapper on a number of songs. Songworks from 2017 and 2018 include “Statute Of Limitations” and “Get The Strap.”

Through interviews and online posts, 50 Cent has continuously criticized Diddy over the years, frequently raising concerns about the sexual orientation of the man behind The Love Album: Off the Grid.

50 Cent made a suggestion in October 2023 that the reason he was against Diddy could have had to do with reports that Diddy was responsible for Tupac Shakur’s demise. He added, “Maybe I said that s### about Puffy because he got Tupac killed.”
