50 Cent Is Releasing Diddy Docuseries With Netflix : ‘It’s a Complex Narrative Spanning Decades’

Rapper 50 Cent is producing a docuseries about the allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and sexual assault.

Through his G-Unit Film & Television banner, 50 Cent joins forces with director Alexandria Stapleton and House of Nonfiction.

“This is a story with significant human impact. It is a complex narrative spanning decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far,” 50 Cent and Stapleton said in a statement to Variety.

The docuseries aims to give voice to the alleged victims and provide nuanced perspectives.

“We urge all to remember that Sean Combs’ story is not the full story of hip-hop and its culture. We aim to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the culture’s broader contributions.”

The documentary’s proceeds will aid sexual assault victims.

Sean Combs faces multiple lawsuits, including from ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and others, alleging wrongdoing. Despite denying allegations, saying “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH… I did not do any of the awful things being alleged,” Combs pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution-related transportation in court. Proceeds from the related documentary will support sexual assault victims.
